Hey guys, I've got this old 8 channel Behringer mixer that I use with my video work. Due to new employment (score!) I'm looking at upgrading my rig TONS. I believe my old bandmate ended up taking my power cable years ago, but I never really hunted him down 'cause it can run on batteries too.

It's a killer though because it needs at least 2 9v batteries to run, and a 3rd if I want LEDs. It's a joke from our perspective, but on set all I need really is a shotgun mic and recorder/mixer combo.

So my question is does anyone know how to get ahold of this specific kind of power cable? I've tried asking Guitar Center *authorized Behringer reseller* but they never did squat to help me order a new one. Unfortunately it's one of the special power cables that only Behringer makes, it's some odd 5 pin and plastic block combo.

have you tried guitar center pro? They are waaayyy more helpful that the normal GC. gcpro.com

they offer really good prices for things also.

other than that, i am not too sure besides contacting the company directly

Thanks Zack, I'll check into that. All my Behringer paperwork and their website said they don't deal out to individuals, I had to go through an authorized reseller and order a part from there. Totally not helpful in the least, but I'll give gcpro a try! Thanks again.

Hmm, there's the catch for the cheap price for ya! Still, that's pretty ridiculous, do they even offer tech support?

Probably, but I'd rather not be routed to India for that. Never heard much good on their 'tech support'. I'd probably be told to go an authorized reseller from them too.

I really dislike it when companies do this kinda trick, change something so basic so people can't get it replaced easily, or from anywhere else for that matter.
