It's ok,but the production is very weak.Joe sounds better then ever.I did his voice alot and hope to hear more from him in the future.

I have both of Joeys solo albums. I really wouldnt say to go get them. But I also don't believe I gave them a fair shake. I might have listened to each onr of them once or twice and then shelved them.

His First solo album was really pretty good. I thought in a "classic metal" sort of way it was good. the second album had a totally different band, and i was not impressed. Spells of Fear may have been ok but i have not listened to it enough to say to go buy it. If i listened to it more it might grow on me only for the reason of Joey's voice. I would say to definetly pick up his first solo album, it is worth it.

Well, IMHO, Spells Of Fear sucks ass. But as I´ve read in some of the previous threads, I might have listened to it once or twice. I like the first album (it´s called just Belladonna), even though, as Charlie said once, "it sounds like bad, bad, bad, bad and one more time bad Anthrax", it´s sort of good classic metal. I would say that Spells... sounds like a little try to copy Persistence Of Time sound, but it´s kinda weird and weak, I didn´t find a good, memorable song there. But hey man, give it a try, purchase it, listen to it and we´ll talk later. Peace.

I bought Spells of Fear for $.99 a couple months ago. I still haven't opened it yet. Ya want it???

I can honestly say that I have not heard Spells of fear but the first Belladonna album(self title) really sucked! I remember one line that me and my friends still quote to this day from it! I think Joey was venting on Anthrax for kicking him out when he said "Shut your friggin mouth"! It's very cheesy to say the least! Anywho, hello everybody and welcome to this weeks messages!

i wouldnt buy spells of fear but i must admit the first album was pretty cool pity the second album went in a backwards direction
