It's not definite yet Saxonmckenz-we haven't booked flights, hotel or bought tickets yet! lol BUT - it's either the Saxon gig or a family wedding on 1st Oct, and I know which one I'd rather be at!! I'm gonna have a look at the link Northernlady sent, and take it from there. I'm hoping to book it today, so I'll let you know.

Saxonmckenz - yep, we're definitely going to Berlin! Booked the flights, ordered the tickets and booked the hotel. We're staying at the Mercure Tempelhof, it's a four star, but it's only 60 euros per night, so that seemed quite good! It's a stones throw from the venue as well. We're arriving on the Friday. How about you, got everything sorted yet?

Hi Saxonator - No, you're not too curious, ask me anything you like

There are a couple of reasons why Paxoman and I chose Berlin over Hamburg - I didn't know Hamburg was nearer to England (geography was never my strong point), and I have already been to Hamburg before I think the flight to Hamburg was more expensive as well, from what I can remember when I was looking at flights for both places. So, as neither of us had been to Berlin, and a few people off here seemed to be going there, we thought we'd go there too Plus, Saxonmckenz is going and we have met up in Brussels and London in the past at Saxon gigs

Yes, we were at the same gig in Brussels Saxonator Then the very next day, Paxoman and I travelled to London to see Saxon at the Astoria

Sorry, I haven't got a scanner or a digital camera, so I can't post any pics Me and Paxoman had a look at your pics though, so we'll be on the look out for you all. I hope we do all get to meet up, it would be nice to meet some more people from the message board You all look like you know how to have a good time, that's for sure!

I'm only 4ft 10 inches tall, so unless German people are also all small in stature, then I will probably be quite noticeable for my lack of height alone!

Don't know about fine foods and champagne cocktails. More like bratwurst and tons of fine German beer!!! Which is fine by me!
