Best album of the 1970s

Black Sabbath - All up to and including Sabotage
Led Zeppelin - Untitled
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Blue Oyster Cult - Secret Treaties
Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic
AC/DC - Highway to Hell
Meatloaf - Bat Out of Hell
Kiss - Alive
Deep Purple - Machine Head
Alice Cooper (band) - Billion Dollar Babies
Alice Cooper (solo) - Welcome to My Nightmare
Rainbow - Rising
Scorpions - Virgin Killers
UFO - Force It

Destroyer is better than Rock and Roll Over, and Alive is better than Destroyer :p.

I would also like to vote for any or all of these:

Led Zeppelin III & IV
Van Halen: S/T
Queen: A Night at the Opera
Any of the first six Sabbath albums
Deep Purple: In Rock, Fireball and Machine Head
Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here
David Bowie: The Rise & Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
Rush: 2112 and A Farewell to Kings

Alice should have got a mention as well, but I'm yet to hear any of his 70s albums all the way through. I only know bits and pieces from the box set.

I didn't count Alive because its a live album.... but I like "Rock & Roll Over", "Kiss", "Hotter Than Hell" and Paul's solo album all better than Destroyer :)

I don't feel qualified to say really, for I wasn't born till 1979....but Welcome To My Nightmare gets my vote..... :)

Kiss - Alive
Kiss - Destroyer
Floyd - Wish you were here
Floyd - Dark side
Van Halen - S/T
Alice Cooper - Goes to hell
Led Zep IV

There are more, but ya gotta draw the line somewhere......
