Best Bass Player Ever ?

Is JAco PAstorius the best bass player ever or is it Steve Digorgio?
Any12 plz help but they are totally different from each other .( jazz and technical death metal)!

I think Victor Wooten is the best, but Stu Hamm, Murcus Miller, Geddy Lee,Cliff Burton, and Flea are amazing bassists.

In every "best something" thread, the first repliers usually say these types of threads are old, then other people post on topic.

There is no "best ever" bassist. Jaco Pastorius and Steve DiGiorgio are/were both excellent players in completely different ways.

Gary Willis would be my pick as far as technicality/groove/tastefulness goes. The style of fusion he plays is a lot cooler than a lot of the cheesy stuff that comes out. And he invented a new picking/plucking style on his fretless that involves a fingerboard underneath the strings where your right hand goes, so you can pluck really lightly & quickly.
