Best Coroner Album

Let's see your opinion guys, I see that here Coroner it's hardly mentioned in the posts, so, let's see what Coroner album do you consider the best one

I like Punishment For Decadence very much, it's killer, but the first Coroner song I've heard was Tunnel Of Pain from No More Color, and after I discovered the other killer songs of NMC (Die By My Hand, D.O.A.), it became my favorite

I will go with Mental Vortex as my favorite Coroner album. I should have taken the chance to see them when they played on tour with Atrophy and Forced Entry back in my college days in the early 90's.... silly me.

Unfortunately...i don't own any Coroner albums but i have a few tracks on compilation cd's whick i rate highly.And i used to have the video No More Colour which i loved but have no idea what happened to it.It vanished.

Coroner is over, it was thrash metal, but different, it has a lot of technique, but unfortunately they were beyond their time, I think that if they were playnig nowadays, people would listen with other ears and other mind.
Well, for the people who doesn't know them, I recommend the album No More Color, in my opinion, the best. Or Mental Vortex. after try R.I.P., and Punsihment For Decadence.

I've been trying to find their stuff. I've heard the song "Masked Jackal" and it got me salivating. They're a really technical thrash band from what I gathered from that song.

Of course, if you compare with the previous........

Definitely No More Color, I even have No More Color- Live In Berlin on VHS!! Mental Vortex, Punishment for decadence.. shit I love all of them, still have all of them. Wish they would get back together.

I love Gliding Above While Being Below on the Coroner cd. It features cool samples from the movie Altered States, one of my fave movies of all time.

coroner was the best trash metal band ever...

and in mental vortex they goes far beyond...

i have seen them live on that tour in 1991 and i have still the memory really vivid...

they explore the real possibilities of progressive music in metal field..

i have buyed no more colors when it came out in 1989 and it schocked me a lot

but i choose mental vortex

Coroner is one of my fave bands ever but I think their music wouldn't sink in any better today than it did ten years ago. Their music is just too deep and not accessible enough for the trendhoppers to go along with their music.

With that said, I like Mental Vortex the best though I'd rate the new songs on the self-titled compilation as some of their best.
