The Netherlands definetely even though i havent lived there for 10 years!!
Just to clear it all up Holland is two provinces together (but not often called that by the dutch) which are part of The Netherlands which is the whole country. Im pretty sure thats correct since im dutch..... Italy's also a pretty kool place to live n of course USA

Thats true, but you can still say Holland instead of The Netherlands as well as le Pays-bas as wel as die Niederlande. It's all the same, and yes we do have 2 provinces that are called North and South Holland, but the name "Holland" is the country. Dot.

close enough though. The time I've spent in Ireland was absolutely amazing. I'd love to visit Scotland someday
