Best cover song of the fest

There were some really great cover songs played at the festival. Here are some that I remember:

What was your favorite? Highway Rider was a great surprise since I love that song, but my favorite was probably Lightning To The Nations.

My absolute favorite was Night Demon doing "Lightning to the Nations".

Grim Reaper's "Don't Talk to Strangers" was heartfelt and excellent.

Yeah, all the covers I heard were pretty solid.

The one that stands out the most has to be We Stand To Fight, simply because it is perfect for Chris' voice. That song has been stuck in my head since Friday.

Too bad I missed "We Stand to Fight." That's a cool tune I never expected anyone to play live.

From what I hear Dark Design's cover of 'Dust in the Wind' got quite a few people singing along on the second stage side... just tossing that out there.

All the covers were neat and pretty interesting choices. Typically I hate to hear any Maiden covers but that one was pretty damn good and not one of the typical songs.

Yeah that Dust in the Wind cover was pretty rad. The most memorable part of their set, I must say. I love that song

I totally have a bromance with Jake. We bonded over our three favorite bands Pagan Altar, Manilla Road, and Cirith Ungol and talked about how amazing the new Summoning album is. <3 that dude.
