Best Death Metal band evar? (Poll)

vs. the World and With Oden on Our Side are both flawless. Given my short attention span, it is rare that I listen to a CD from beginning to end. Even more rare with Death Metal, as the songs on a given disc often tend to lack variety. Not so with Amon Amarth.

There seems to be a lot of love for Versus the World on this board. I think it's one of their weakest, along with The Crusher. I do like the new one a lot though, although not as much as when I first heard it.

Seeing them live on Saturday, can't fucking wait!

I don't think I've heard anything after Versus the World, but I own it and everything before it, and yes I think it's their best. That said, your poll somehow excluded the best death metal band ever: Edge of Sanity.
