Inspired by High on Maiden's "Best metal scream" thread, I decided to create a thread dedicated to your favourite extreme metal vocalists. Nominate your favourite growlers/screamers/whatever here. Here are my picks:

DM vocalists: Lord Worm/Cryptopsy, Corpsegrinder/Cannibal Corpse (I love it when he goes from a deep, guttural grunt to a high-pitched scream), the guy who does the guttural vocals in Exhumed (Ross Sewage?), Mr Hustler/Blood Red Throne.

Black metal: Ihsahn/Emperor, ICS Vortex/ex-Borknagar/Dimmu Borgir, Galder/Old Man's Child, Nocturno Culto/Darkthrone.
 
Alternative Metal: Mark Chevez, Lajon Witherspoon.

Hardcore Metal: Rob from Spineshank, Wayne Static.

Rap Metal: Sonny Sandoval.
 
Dave Rotten of Avulsed, dude from Psycroptic, Joe Horvath of Circle Of Dead Children, Kyle Symons of Malevolent Creation, Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth, Athera of Susperia, Ihsahn of Emperor/Peccatum, Abbath of Immortal, Jeff Walker of Carcass, John Tardy of Obituary.
 
Dead, Quorthon, Mille of Kreator, Grutle of Enslaved, Nocturno Culto, Varg Vikernes.

Ihsahn absolutely sucks. When his vocals sound passable it's only because they're very low in the mix.

most of the ones i really like have been said.

i'd also like to add Dax Riggs, i like all the stuff he's done with AB, AoO and Deadboy.
 
Low: Lorin Cook(EX Wicked Innocence) lowest natural vocals I have heard and one of the most creative schizophrenic vocalists ever. He sounds like a mental patient that has broken out. He talks to himself,fucks with you,has convo's with himself, etc... you name it. This guy is inhuman and just fucking insane. Lenzig(Cephalic Carnage)

Clean: Lorin Cook(EX Wicked Innocence),Dax Riggs, etc...

I don't feel like naming shit.

Bump. He actually has multiple voices. I like his heavily accented, almost spoken word clean voice even better than his black metalish screams. It's cool to see another Primordial fan on this board. That band are extremely underrated and don't get the recognition they deserve.
 
Tardy from Obituary is really extraordinary - uncompareable.
And that cool shouter/screamer from german deathers Disbelief: Karsten "JAGGER" Jäger. He has an unique psychotic voice - unbelieveable - never heard before from any other shouter.:yell: :worship:
