Probably the best band I have worked with. We don't have too much to brag about in the area, but I take what I can. Check it out! Let me know what you think!
The seemingly random cut in occurs because the EP is a gapless EP. The previous song on the EP blends into this one with an atmospheric type thing.

The mix is okay. I would make them re-record some of the guitar parts like the beginning.

AWESOMEEEEEE FUCKING BAND. holy SHIT... but yeah, definitely needs more editing on the GTR's and bass especially in the heavier more tech parts, towards the end when it gets super epic and all those parts sound PERFECTTTTTT...

I'd say everything is a bit overcompressed. I do however, dig the vocals which is a rarity for me. Cymbals sound a bit....wimpy. too much junk EQ freq's and not enough air.

Also, try to automate more dynamics in the mix.. after the super epic part, the break sounds way 'smaller'.... =D

Glad you liked them so much! They're one of the best here, and they are highly respected in the local community, so it's good I got a chance to record with them. Yeah I'm not sure man. I'm at a point where my recordings aren't improving, but they improved like fuck over the last year. Literally from shit to this, so it's a huge improvement.
I work on some of it man thanks a lot for the input!
