Not a 'mindfuck' per se, but Hitchcock's Rope is one of my favorite experimental-type movies of all time. Very simple; a murder mystery that takes place in an apartment, is shot in real time, with some latent homosexual undertones that were pretty fucking risque for 1948.
Dark City was the shit, Requiem for a Dream fucked my mind up the first (and only) time I saw it, Holy Mountain, and, of course, The Last Airbender.
Holy shit, I was going to include those two (Rope and Dark City) ...
ALSO...
ALL of Charlie Kaufman's films (these in particular)
Being John Malkovich
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Synecdoche, New York
Mulholland Drive (meh)
Psycho (the original Hitchcock film)
Vertigo (also Hitchcock)
American Psycho
There are probably more I am forgetting.
Hey now, finally someone to add to the fan club!oh yeah Dark City is up there..
Hey now, finally someone to add to the fan club!
I don't really know too many mind-fuck movies.
I have no time to watch movies like I did when I was younger, which really sucks considering I do love to relax with a good flim. I downloaded Hot Tub Time Machine because my friend told me it was the funniest movie of the year and I am eager to watch it.
