Shamefully, I couldnt say but I've always loved Sodoms cover of Cold Sweat, which album is that one on? I might have to hunt it down one day...

There is also a cover by Helloween. And it's the only song co-writen by John Sykes while in the band.

Maybe my all time fave Thin Lizzy song is Massacre from the Johnny the Fox album.
Killer song indeed, that one was like Maiden before Maiden :)

I can't choose a favorite song myself, even though I always have a soft spot for their most Irish sounding material.

Johnny the Fox. What an underrated album that is! Not a dud on the thing. Great album for "Rocky" and "Johnny the Fox Meets Jimmy the Weed" alone.

Hey Nick!! Nice to see you here again. :)
How are you man? I just posted a message on your myspace page. :headbang:

I voted for Live and Dangerous which is just an a magnificent album - my 2 fav tracks on that are the mindblowing Emerald which is my fav TL song and the Cowboy Song - brilliant.

I'd too have to agree with that. Especially with your comment about the Live and Dangerous version of Emerald! That songs is simply beautiful!

On a sorta related note, a couple of weeks ago I picked up the Gary Moore dvd - Live At Montreux 1990 - phenomenal! It also includes 3 bonus songs from his '97 Montreux performance, one of which - 'Parisienne Walkways' - sends chills down my spine when I hear it. The version of 'Still Got The Blues' on this is top notch, as well.

Then by all means pick Gary Moore & Friends "One Night In Dublin - A Tribute To Phil Lynnot" (if you hadn't yet).:headbang: If you don't like it you can always kick me at PPVII :D

NP: Masterplan - 'Kind Hearted Light'

No I haven't and it is on the list. I'm sure I will like it, as I am a big Gary Moore fan. Too many things on the 'to buy' list for the size of my bank account...damn, I need more money.
