Best song with the stupidest line?

"Ya know I'd like to shave your head and all my friends could paint it red."

Makes sense and all, but I've always thought it a pretty gay line.

i was going to write lyrics from SOnata Arctica songs, but they're just stupid lines, not good songs.... :D

I believe that the lyrics of Sonata Arctica are works of genius that nobody in this lifetime will ever truly appreciate. They'll be like Shakespeare's plays in 500 years.

True, but when he hits those high notes in "Leonardo" it's so awesome it wouldn't matter if he was singing about cleaning the toilet or something.

And note, when he sings the high note in the line "art is my church", he actually finishes the word church where as countless other singers would just let that note fade out. :headbang:

One of my favourite lines from that revered New York poet Sir Paul of Stanley goes like this:

"You're good lookin' and you're lookin' like you should be good"

He often boasts about writing the words to Come On And Love Me in half an hour. From the example I just quoted, I think that's pretty obvious .

Totally, utterly agreed

Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Burning for the steel
Hearts On Fire

The Gods Made Heavy Metal And They Saw That It Was Good
They Said To Play It Louder Than Hell
We Promised That We Would
When Losers Say It's Over With You Know That It's A Lie
The Gods Made Heavy Metal And It's Never Gonna Die

Now they are some fucking lame cheese lyrics.

I reckon half an hour on a Kiss lyric is a long time. 'Rock and Roll All Nite' couldn't have taken more than a minute to write.
