Best tone out of these 3?

Tone 3

They're similar in characteristic, but I'm just struggling lately to put my finger on what my mix requires from the guitars. Perhaps by getting some opinions on the three tones I'm trying out I'll get some answers.

1 for me I think

2 is a bit dull and 3 sounds like the HP is set a bit high
1 is a nice middle

I think 1 is the better TONE. But I think 3 fits better in the overall mix.

Dig 2, 1 is good but is a bit top endy, whilst 3 is very top endy. I like 2, its like the filter is down around 8k, I like this in guitar tones.

1 for me as well, 2 was too dull and 3 had too much air. 1 is the perfect middle ground.

cool, tone 1 is a blend of both tones (literally a blend of both on each track, not just some tracks of each) so I was expecting it to be the winner. After playing around, and after paying heed to some advice in another thread, it just needed the tiniest EQ adjustment in the midrange to take out some honk (or the "cardboard" range, as Ermz has coined!) and it's sunk into the mix beautifully.

Additionally, yes, tone 7 is the shit.
