Hey, I don't visit these forums much but I was wondering what do y'all think is the best track off The Crusher? My favorite has to be The Sound Of Eight Hooves followed closely by Bastards Of A Lying Breed and Releasing Surtur's Fire respectively. How bout y'all.

Though I really like The Fall Through Ginnungagup, I have to vote for Sound Of Eight Hooves, it's just amazing.

As Long As The Raven Flies and The Fall Through Ginnungagup make my number two and three.

A Fury Divine fucking rules, but it's too hard to choose between it and Masters Of War and The Sound Of Eight Hooves. All the songs have prety cool catchy riffs... as well as the other stuff

Releasing Surtur's Fire. Truthfully this is probably one of the hardest albums EVER to judge just one favorite song though. It's damn close. And if given the option I'd rather just listen to the whole thing start to finish. Also I think more overall favorites come off this album than any other, at least among the more old school listeners.

Nah mate, my overall favourties are ones like Victorious March, Without Fear, Friends Of The Suncross the title track Amon Amarth, Burning Creation, The Arrival of The Fimbul Winter etc....Most old school fans of any band will like their older stuff a lot more. Dont get me wrong, every Amon amarth album is fucking amazing, but IF i HAD to select favs they'd all come off OSFTGH & TSTNW. I mean it would have been the time the Crusher was released or a bit before i first heard AA but it was all OSFTGH and i cant go passed it and doubt i ever will! Which is why it sucks, i dont think ill ever get to see half the shit i want to see played, even though ill be seeing Amon fucking shitloads of times, every scandanavian gig starting from Feb next year for the next 4 years or more.

Ahh i just want to see or hear Without fear live, just once, its not on the dvd or anythin. Which reminds me, anyone who has a without fear bootleg let me know, THAT MEANS YOU CLINT! let me borrow ya dam video man haha.

Heh I admit that most of my favorites are from OSFTGH and STTNW. But overall I still think the Crusher is their best album as a whole. It's hard to explain. Sorta like the sum is greater than its parts or something. And OSFTGH is still damn close.

I'd say Crusher is tipping off on the "worst of their cd's" side of the scale. I don't know if it IS the worst, it might be. This or Fate of Norns. Probably this.

OSFTGH is absolute brilliance. The lyrics are like poetry, it's so fucking good.

i wouldnt say amon have a WORST album, id just say, fate of norns isnt their BEST album still fucking awsome. I mean the first 2 are my fav. I cant really decide whats better than what with Avenger, Crusher, vs The World & With Oden On our Side, they are all fucking awsome. Dont know why, but i can easily pick the first 2 as my fav above everything.
