Best USB interface for live sampling from laptop?

So my band has been getting fed up with our old clunky Alesis DM5 which is on its death-bed and barely works. Rather than replacing it, I want to get in to more flexible sampling options, and in particular we love using Charles J's Panzer kick (used it on our last demo). So I brought my FireFace400 and my laptop to the jam space, ran Audiomulch (GREAT performance-based audio platform!) and APTrigger...results were fantastic!

The only issue is my FF400 I like to leave in my home studio rack and is somewhat overkill for what we're doing anyways.

Our needs are a USB interface with 2 or 4 ins, 4 outs (2 for drum sampling, plus 2 for click track and backing track when needed). I would also need the interface to have as low latency as possible obviously, and preferably in the ~$200 or less range.

I was looking at the Tascam US-200 as a potential, but haven't found too many reviews that explicitly state whether this card is reasonable with its latency.

Any thoughts?
