yeah, i really don't care for this band, i won't say they don't have tallent, the bassist and guitarists are pretty good, the drumming and vocals however leave something to be desired, the vocals are typical hardcore fare. the drumming isn't bad but the shite breakdowns really kill it for me.

they are clearly influenced by all kinds of oldschool prog and definately not the generic DEP wanna be mathcore stuff that every new band that is trying to be complex sounds like.

they are rather good imo.

Yeah, if you don't like the Selkies solo(s). Or, pretty much any Paul Waggoner (?) solo, then you probably have no sense of melody and shouldn't be throwing the word around.

Yeah I remember when I was as cool as all the haters here and trashed this band as just some more "Shitty metalcore", but oh hey what's this? Then I actually gave them a listen and found out I wasn't even close, how about that, huh?

Not sayin' you can't keep on hatin', but all the assumptions do quite the injustice to their actual sound.
