Thinking about getting this, although I already have EZ Drummer 2 along with Metal Machine. Do you guys think it would be a waste of $29?

Bought this a long time ago from audiomidi for $29 as well. Some time later they were asking for $20 something more just to get the 64-bit version, so I just uninstalled the damn thing. Upgraded my SSD4 to platinum and I'm happy.

For someone buying his first sampled drumkit or looking for a classic rock sound, it might be a good deal.

was thinking of buying it just to use the platinum samples expansions and upcoming drumdrops releases in it. don't have THAT much need for it though.....

This one have 64-bit included. Although I'm not fan of default toms (not liking that reso head tuning +3/+4 semitones). Snares mostly is somehow usable and kicks sound like usable for old-school type rock. Also it doesn't look convenient that default presets offer drum kit for metal and than it can't load it, because it doesn't have those kit pieces or pretty much other default kit presets.
Thinking maybe someday to get that Oblivion expansion.

I've had it for a while and I think it's easily the worst cheap library on the market.

Doesn't sound any better than what I'm already using in LPX. Cool if you need it, but there are better options out there(at least for me).
