Yes.

One of my favorite musicians of all time. I'll go through a phase of listening to metal and then I'll hear a Bjork song and then think "Man... This is perfect"..

Anybody else have a thing for Bjork?

Shane (Kazrog) got me into Bjork back a while ago. When I first heard it I was like "what the fuck is this", but it definitely grows on you. It's like the first time I heard Steve Vai's Sex & Religion album, I hated it, but now I absolutely love it! The songwriting and production on her albums is incredible.

Edit: Btw, she's so damn hot on her cover for Medulla. ^_^

Amazing song...

Also, I absolutely love Peter Tagtgren's cover of Bjork's "Play Dead" off of PAIN's "Psalms of Extinction" album. Too bad I can't find a video or song link for those not familiar w/ it. Amazing cover.

Edit: Nevermind, I found it! It's an AMV, but still has the song!

Add me to the Bjork love feast.

Awesome music and some great videos.

I can't remember the name of the song where she is naked and pierced up in the video. That's a cool vid too.

My GF's a huge fan of her...she's really an artist and passionate and everything, but it's not my kind of stuff...at least until now it never got me, maybe it takes some time

that song is awesome

Bjork legitimately fucking terrifies me.

Maybe it's all the Chris Morris I've watched.

And she likes metal. What more could you ask for in a chick?

Carcass likes her:

yaaaaay

2 Bjorks getting it on!!!

Björk has made some of my favorite albums ever, especially Post. A friend of mine played me that record one night at my house and I was immediately hooked. I subsequently bought her whole discography as well as live DVDs, etc. She's an amazing vocalist, songwriter and producer / sound designer as well. She's almost like the female Devin Townsend in a way.

I will say though, I haven't been that into her last couple of albums, aside from a couple of tracks. It almost seems like she's trying too hard to be weird and not focusing enough on good songs anymore, but I always check out anything new she releases (because it's guaranteed to be different than anything she's done before.) Still, I think 1990s Björk is where it's at.

So if you're looking to get into Björk, I'd start with Post and Homogenic, both of which are fucking amazing, and need to be experienced as albums.
