Figured it was about time I gave a little something back here.

Here are a few Black Beauty snare samples done at a session I was present at early last year (I wasn't the one engineering):

There aren't quite as many as I'd like, in as many different velocity layers, but I hope there's at least something for you to work with.

^ I just tried them out on a 2-song demo of a stoner band and they blend in very nicely.

/off mixing that kind of style turns out really counter-intuitive - lost of low mids and barely any highs
