I liked two songs off the album, but since I didn't buy it (just heard it with a friend) I haven't given it another listen to really get a good feel for it. Honestly though, i'ts not bad, but it's not great either. *Spins new Mastodon album instead*

I never got into SFAM. Too happy.

No matter what though, Dream Theater made my favorite solo. Near the 20 minute mark in A Change of Seasons, where Azn Jon goes

"bow bow bow ba ba bow bow bow bow, bow bow bow ba ba BOW BOW BOW"

And then PEHTRUCKSEE goes

"WAAAAAAAOW WAAAAAAAAAOW WWOOOOOW WAAAAAAAAOW WAAAAAAAAOW WOOOOOOOOW"

I think Awake is where it's at. It's dark, diverse and very well written.

It might not have my favorite song on it but Awake is definitely the best album. Way better than overrated Images and Words.

yeah awake was quite good, i like the overall feel of the album, very unique sound.

Kevin Moore had really developed in the synthesis department as well which i think helped give it that sound.
