Wouldn't you like to know
I know most of us aren't stupid enough to actually go out and shop on Black Friday, so I've been doing a bit of shopping online, looking around for good deals and figured this would be an interesting topic on UM.

So far the only thing I've purchased are books for myself, Hitler's War by David Irving (which I mentioned in the book thread), and the Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson.

So, what have you purchased or what do you plan on purchasing? I'll update my list as I continue to blow money like there's no tomorrow.

I went out for it, didn't get all that much, but here's what I did get:

(For resell):
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit
Fable III
Medal of Honor

They were all $35, plus I got a $10 giftcard.

And then at gamestop I got Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2 and Mercenaries 2 (didn't realize they were all the second sequel, huh...).

I almost got a portable hard drive but decided against it. The only other thing I plan on purchasing is the Archos 101 tablet, and that'll probably happen in a couple weeks.

Oh and I did order a bunch of stuff from the End Records last week.

Since my fucking Samsung was shot after three years ( the insides basically melted ) I went out browsing and ended up buying a Sony KDL-55EX500 - 55" LCD TV - 1080p for 850 at p.c richard.

The catch was there was no internet video (which I couldn't give a shit about) and I had to wait in the store for over an hour just to get the fucker delivered.

...and I watched some crazy Russian dude flip out over a cell phone. fun day!

Just bought Dexter seasons 1 & 3 for my girlfriend off amazon at $15 a pop. Was hoping for season 4, but it wasn't listed :(

I'll check DVD Planet later, since they have a 20% deal going through till Dec 1st.

This will be my gift to myself, I just placed an order for it. Apparently the shelving is completely adjustable and it holds nearly 1200 CDs. I don't have that many but I do have a few hundred, plus I'll have a place for my DVDs as well. And free shipping. :)

Where did you get that? Adjustable shelving means that I might be able to shove a good chunk of my library in that thing.

I ordered it from bedcetera.com, which is located just a few hours from where I live.

Initially, I was hesitant to want to buy one online because of shipping prices and likely ridiculous custom fees if I bought internationally. But luckily I found a place within my province.

They're called Barrister Towers, and they come in a variety of different sizes etc. You can find them on eBay too.

I need a second one of those :(

How much do you have in your collection? :loco:

1900 cds + 900 vinyl?! How the fuck does anyone afford that?!

Just for shits, if you average $10 for each cd, that's 19,000 fucking dollars. You don't need that stupid shelving unit with adjustable shelves, you need a damn fireproof/waterproof/apocalypse proof safe my friend.
