Dimmu Borgir, Old Man's Child, Satyricon, Samael, Emperor, Ajattara, Anaal Nathrakh(Pure "Necro" BM.......violent shit), Agathodaimon, Dark Funeral, Usurper, Enslaved, SOME Cradle of Filth, Bathory, Celtic Frost, SOME Tiamat, Arcturus(Only early pre-94 non-homo shit), Abigor, Hecate Enthroned, Darkthrone("oldschool" shit), Burzum, Mayhem and Marduk(Simply for the cultism....not so much for the "music" if you can call it that)..........and of course Finntroll for all that little satanic and pedophilic troll-vs-world/anti christian paraphrenalia. By far I prefer Melodic Black Metal over traditional for the style as long as its some seriously cool shit, but if you're looking for the "true-to-tradition" BM................there's one band that's even more intense and "true" to the form than even Darkthrone or any of the oldschool shit.......it's one of my favs simply for it's extremely evil and brutal style to the extent of Anaal Nathrakh or even more. If you think you're worthy, listen to Black Dawn(and no not the gay ass non-BM shit........this is a Black Metal band), the album of choice is 'Blood for Satan' .....ONLY to be listened to during acts of self mutilation
