I once ago asked to Dragonlord's singer if he had tips for black metal singing, and he answered me a thing like:

"first you gotta be in an attitude, maybe a sip or two of whiskey will do the joke, then a good music on and here you go..."

Well first I took it as a joke and well didn't really take this seriously, but after trying it... it does make sense !
