End of The world and Epidemic are Aviv's songs that he released in like.... 1992
and now they sound so different and awesome after Wilson's special touch.
LOVE that alsbum.
I love that whole project actually.

I keep meaning to check this shit out. I really like PT's 'In Absentia', but the stuff after that was boring to me. But I've been led to believe that I might enjoy Blackfield a bit more.

So I see one clear vote for I over II...is that the general recommendation?

Among most fans, most prefer I over II (and I agree). I really haven't listened to II that much though, I seem to remember not really being in the mood for it when it came out though.
Opeth ruined themselves. Essentially everything I've heard that relates to Wilson has been awesome.

I prefer I over II as well, but I like II.... I do not think it's bad at all, just slightly different...
but mind you, sometimes different is good, and in this case: excellent!

Blackwater Park was okay, I don't think I listened to Deliverance more than 4 or 5 times before I gave up on it. Your overestimating the amount of influence SW had on Opeth.

My comments are mainly tongue and cheek, I pretty much listen to Still Life and Orchid only these days anyways.

Yea they really are melding into one another lately. Although, the latest Opeth bored me to tears, while I thought "Fear of a Blank Planet" was rather good.
