Alright is it just me or is he the greatest human being ever to walk the face of the planet? The man is so great I cant even hear the word black without breaking down and crying before his magnificince. Diabolical Masquerade is such a great band that it is not possible for me to explain how much I love them! What do you guys think of him?

Well, I love Katatonia, but I still haven't heard any Diabolical Masquerade. I keep meaning to though.

Haven't heard mutch of the other albums,
but i have "Death's Design" and i like it.
Took me forever to find the thing too.
Ironically i found it in a mostly mainstream
oriented shop, it was sold out everywhere else.
Probably because most people who
buy music in that store think Linkin Park is metal.

Blakkheim is a god just for Diabolical Masquerade, then add in his work with Katatonia and Bloodbath and you have a Super god! This guy is about the level of Mikael for me.

Diabolical Masquerade is awesome. I have Nightwork and Death's Design, both awsome. I have some mp3's of earlier work and they dont' sound quite as good. Mabye this is b/c Dan wasn't there to help before Nightwork, but I dunno. I love Blakkheim's nasy vocals. He goes by another name as well right, what is it?? I feel stupid.

Anders is my 2nd fav guitarist (behind Chuck, so I guess he's on the verge of becoming #1 ). His melodic ability is stunning. I just listened to the last two DM albums last night (first time in a while)- damn they are cool! I soooooooo wish the movie hadn't been scrapped, it would've been great to sit in a movie theatre head banging to a horror movie

I thought that was Jonas and Mikael. I'm sure Anders is pretty close too though.

I haven't heard any Death's Design but it's sitting in the store. Should I get it???? I'm undecided.

His work in Katatonia is amazing of course. He's part of the reason they're my favourite band. The other part starts with J

Actually, it's Blackheim when talking about old Katatonia. Nothing he has done after Sounds of Decay compares to anything he has done prior and including Sounds of Decay.
