Well, I like to get some thoughts on this..
we've just recorded this to get this idea down and use it for future stuff.
Don't take this as anything tight, lots of mistakes are made, but still..the idea is there.
Anywaaaay...we're having a really really hard time getting good sounds out the ENGL Blackmore, while this shouldn't be a problem.. We're using the standard cabinet..

Ibanez SZ320 > ENGL Blackmore > Standard ENGL Cab > SM57 > SM Audio PR8

I'm having the discussion at the moment with the guitar player about tuning the guitars lower (D) instead of having our songs in standard (E) tuning...so also any thoughts on that?

it sounds strange to me, like muffled as fuck. you would probably benefit from tuning down a step, but thats just my opinion.
