I have no Blind Guardian albums, therefore none are recommended. This statement also applies to Gwar, Black Label Society, Trivium and Rhapsody.

I'd go with Imaginations for the otherside or Somewhere Far beyond both really good albums. nightfall on middle earth is also bad ass, more of a complete concept album.
