yeah, pretty much everything he said i consider cheesy. Cheesy = makes me laugh in some way, whether or not i think it's cool.

I don't mind laughing at my music. How the hell else can I listen to Edguy songs like Lavatory Lovemachine? As for you being intelligent, I don't know you, so I can't really tell if you are. Your lowbrow choice of words sure make you sound less intelligent than I can assume you are since you do listen to music that isn't spoon fed to you by MTV. In truth, whether or not you care about what I say is your own business. If you want to live your life out sounding less than what you are, fine by me. My involvement is over. Period.

I'm not a big BG fan but I were to pick an album it would be "Battalions of Fear". I would definintley say there cheesy and I would jokingly say they are gay. TheOdyssey and I know what "Welcome to Dying" is really about 
Oh, I have 2 BTW's
1. Symphony X has plenty of cheesy moments, so don't say if your'e cheesy you are gay, because SX is not gay.
2. Conan Rules...Anyone who does not think so SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Spin: plus it has like one of the best movie scores ever. But the second one sucks.

Well, while I don't think that Blind Guardian are 'gay', I'll say that sometimes they're amusingly enthusiastic. But this was always a major plus in my mind (they ARE my favorite band of all time, after all).
To answer the main question of this thread... I have no idea what is the best BG album. =P Nightfall in Middle-Earth was my first, and I'm tempted to call that their best, but then there's Imaginations from the Other Side, as well as the other five studio albums... =] Not that I consider Battalions of Fear and Follow the Blind anywhere near their best (nor even Tales from the Twilight World, for that matter). =\ I can't choose between them, so I'll say NiME and IftOS are the best.

Ok, let me address what you DID say. You did say you can assume i am smarter than my choice of words because i listen to music not spoonfed to me by mtv. That has to be the most pretensious thing i have ever heard on this board, and that's saying a lot. i still think that saying someone who likes metal as opposed to 50 cent isn't necissarily smarter. You know, it's kinda like saying i am smarter because my favorite fruit is starfruit and yours is apples because starfruit is less available and you have to look for it while apples are fucking everywhere. Maybe someone likes linkin park better because they do, not because they are less intelligent. I think the only think that liking true metal shows is that you are either A) less lazy than the majority or B) know someone who is less lazy than the majority. I will say it has nothing to do with intelligence.
