Are Seeds Of Hate and Despicable different sides of the same story? Although they don't follow each other on the album, there is a thematic parallel...the latter being an abused son expressing his contempt for both his father and himself, and the former being the father felling loss after his son abandons him and regret over the way he treated him.

my hope was to have despicalbe precede seeds on the album but it didn't work sonically....I think the thematic flow would have been better that way......but you are on the nose as to the connection I wrote despicable first, which was pretty harsh, then felt like I should internally explore his side of the story or his possible perspective.

I was actaully facinated with the title tracks lyrics.

The theme is defianlty an interesting take on that particular subject, and the way it's written gives it a serious and chilling feel... especially the last few lines.

what was the inspiration behind this tune?
