Blink release date?????

I ordered it from Amazon, so today I am expecting a shipping confimation email. I didnt get it, so I check out the website and it now states that it will be released on 8/13. I looked at other online sites like Best Buy, CDnow, B&N, and discovered that the same 8/13 date. This sucks!!

I guess its delayed. Doug/Ed/Ted/Sean do you what happened? These delays always occur, but everyone seemed to be confident that today is the release date.
The IOMA site says 7/24, though.

I'm waiting on Amazon as well becasue none of my local stores are able or willing to get any in any sooner...

Oh well- I know it will be worth the wait...

I'm not sure what is going on with Amazon guys?? I checked it last week and it said July 23rd as the release date. Today it indeed does say August 13th. I'm thinking maybe there was a delay in their shipment or something. I wish I had more info.

OK seems as if there was a manufacturing problem here is the states guys.

Blink did come out on time in Europe.

Not much we could do here? It is frustrating for us too but it will not be long!
