Blood Meridian - Berklee Students Play Metal

Hey! You guys have incredible taste in metal and i would love to know if you could offer some criticism on my bands tunes. The only thing we have up is a Sampler track from our upcoming EP to be out in Spring. We kinda sound like a mix between Opeth, Darkest Hour, Mastodon, In Flames... So if you like those dudes, give us a shot! You can check us out on any of these pages, 2 of them don't record play count, so thats not what this is for! Also, feel free to friend us on facebook or myspace and send us some messages saying what your thoughts are!

What about it don't you like? I'm just curious any criticism helps

It's completely devoid of personality.

It sounds like what any reasonably skilled fan of Lamb of God would come out with. Generic and uninteresting riffs and arrangements added to a bland production value ends up bringing absolutely nothing new to the table.

It's clear that you guys can play. Now try playing something you haven't ever heard before. Make sound.

Ah, I see. To be honest, not one of us are fans of lamb of god, so that's kinda funny that you say that. Although, we're by no means shredding in any of these, while we can, i assure you. I don't think there was even a solo in the track. But I can see where you are coming from. Is there anything you liked about it/Were there parts you liked? What do you want to hear more of/less of?
About the production value, there is none on this track. literally no production really involved on the sample track. But we are in the midst of recording a REAL EP right now, hopefully check it out later and tell me what you think, cause we're probably going to use the berklee studios, which are some of the best in the east coast.

He is a Berklee student. What you ask of him is impossible.
