The track used on the soundtrack is Outnumbering the Day. There a couple of other Swedish bands on the list including Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Soilwork, Meshuggah and the Haunted. I'll post a link where you can see both American release and European release tracklists.

It's the top news article on the homepage.

i haven't heard of this movie though...

lol, are they doing a chart-friendly non-metal version out of outnumbering the day or whats going on? ^^ I cant imagine that they put the normal album version on it.
I hate people that make different versions.............why is Vredesbyrd for example only on the american version and that other shit on the european?

I don't know. It happens too often that Hollywood makes a horror movies who totally sucks. I just hope this film won't. But, I'm in denial, so i won't go see this movie unless I get a free ticket somewhere. I always find ways to get free tickets to movies.

much as I love Metal, just adding random Metal songs in a film is terrible, it sounds awful and in every example I have seen completely detracts from the atmosphere. That is if they actually feature the songs in the film (which looking at it I doubt they could play them back to back for the length of the fim). I take it as no reflection on any band featured, it just seems to be record lables cashing in (notice its all Nuclear Blast, Century Media, Relapse and Roadrunner artists). As its a movie based on a computer game its almost certain to be utter crap anyhow.

Now if they'fd got Diabolical Masquerade or Ulver to do a proper soundtrack then its a different story... or even better if someone turned an album into a film (which is one of my great ambitions)

I doubt "bloodbath" are going to get played in the actual movie (no offence or anything to the band) because they'll probably play something more mainstream like something from Roadrunner.
The movie itself looks horrible judging from the trailer and that it's based on a video game.
