Wasn't long ago that it was all nu-metal....

Wow, that's pretty cool. Movie looks like a shitty Alien ripoff though.

Machine Head - Imperium

This is a song most excellent, it's the first and best track off their latest. Brilliant piece right there.

Nightwish - Wish I Had An Angel

Nightwish must be for the mandatory "After the Horror is Over Inspiration"

You know, I think it's based on an old videogame....
The first thing I thought was "that's an old video game!" but it doesn't look the same. I never played it, apparently it was set in a mansion setting. Isn't the movie blasting space aliens?

It's likely the move was meant to push the bands more than itself...

"Large hunks of the movie are taken up with machine-gun fire programmed to crunching heavy metal and directed at bounding spidery monsters intent on taking over the world."

Yep.

I had the game for Sega Saturn a really long time ago. It was basically a really stripped down Resident Evil mansion sort of thing. It sucked, and the movie sucks too, I'm sure. It's a movie about finding a gate into hell, and you can't do a movie like that successfully if its based off of a Video Game (just the title, really) AND it stars Tara Reid.

yes, it is based on a crappy video game, and it is done by a crappy director who driected a crappy video game movie before: house of the dead. so ehhh on the movie.

soundtrack is different story. It is done through nuclear blast, so most of tghe bands on it are really good. It is still strange to see dying fetus and suffocation on a movie soundtrack though..
