Is Discord the new cool kid? It seems like everyone and their mother are having their own Discord server, everybody uses it and yet here I am stuck on forums and teamspeak.

I'm not entirely sure what Discord is. I thought it was just sort of a Skype/Teamspeak hybrid.

It's like Teamspeak/Mumble, but easier to use.
Anyone can create a server for example, guessing it's cloud/virtual based, so you do not need to know someone who has a server set up to be able to use it.

Edit: Oh yeah, and there is more focus on chat rooms as well, which is the reason Adam created this thread I assume.
