Bloodbath shirt controversy

“Recently saw your t-shirt “Mock The Cross.” It seems rather childish and immature not to mention very dangerous, to ridicule Christ. Why such disdainment for the incarnate God who died to save all mankind, even your sorry asses! If you have a problem with organized religion that’s one thing. It has little to do with Christ and His life and teachings. Of course if you curse Him in apparent ignorance, then you wouldn’t know the difference. Hell won’t be a cool place to be. The power of the cross is foolishness to those perishing.”

“I Don’t care about all the satan woreshippers that are gonna flame me. But, BloodBath YOU JUST LOST A FAN. On that degrading shirt. I believe what i believe. I rather not have bands mock it. This band is done. Never again. See you on judgment day.”

honestly i love bloodbath but this and the cradle of filth shirts are stupid to me because they just strike me as attention whoring. LOOK AT US WE HAVE THE MOST EXTREME OFFENSIVE SHIRT HELL YEAH doesn't strike me as intelligent and a lot of the people buying it are probably just doing it to shock everyone and seem edgy and cool. I still love bloodbath and listen to them and want one of their other shirts and they should have the right to have their shirts be however they want but they shouldn't be surprised when some groups don't want to print it and some people don't want to buy it and want to voice their opinion on it. (the new album is pretty weak anyway so i'm hoping that this shock isn't a way that they're trying to use to generate buzz about them since they don't have the music to back it up like their old albums which coincidentally had gruesome but still much more tame shirts)

i don't find the shirt THAT bad. hell, i didn't even notice the demon puking on jesus until somebody pointed it out to me. either way, i own shirts that are more offensive that haven't caused this much controversy
