Does anybody know if there's a way to tell a Japan version vs. a Taiwan version? I'm looking to buy one locally a guy has, but the sticker on the back has been removed that normally says "made in japan/taiwan". I've been wanting a MIJ version for a long time now, but I also don't want to end up with another MIT. Help?

So.... it seems we have a good idea how the guitar sounds in previous albums were created, but I still haven't seen any evidence of what they used on the albums used in the thread title?
