Ways to the grave and cry my name are clearly the 2 best songs on the album. Both extremely good, I'd love to cover them with a band someday. Killer choruses on both. I love that part after the chorus the second time on cry my name when it goes into a bridge and he just goes "yeah!! (lick) Cry out!!! (another lick)"

It IS pretty average death metal, imo...but it's still good...especially the EP, those three songs are CLASSICS. RtC isn't near as good, but still get if you like that kind of thing.

Of course it's nothing special. They didn’t want it to be. It’s just a tribute to classic death metal. But I think the performance, heaviness and overall quality of the music is far above average. I still think Mikael’s grunt/growl tops any other in the genre and only that is even enough to lift this music above average death metal.

PErsonaly i think Bloodbath is above standard Death metal becuase i think they are way more melodic ans still raw as hell on the same time...

thing is, its fairly hard to find any kind of metal music in ireland.
