BMTH - There Is a Hell - FULL ALBUM on myspace

I wish the entire band would make a suicide pact and promptly jump of a cliff.

it sounds interesting... it would be nice to hear the album without vocals (imo).

there isn't really anything of substance in the vocals so i was immediately ...disinterested (for lack of a better word).

i am sure bmth has a comfortable following. so great for them.

i'd say the most compelling thing in this album is the guitars, (which is difficult to gauge do to the myspace suck encoder).

3 out of 5 stars

I love the album, totally different to Suicide Season but still just as good. Wouldn't say better right now.

I dont believe this is them "maturing" though. My friend is good mates with Oli and Matt and said their massive ket heads (sniff loads of Ketamine). This album is either a massive drug fueled trip (lyric wise) or a piss take!

Meh! Who knows, who cares! I like it

Fredrik Nordstrom produced this?
Wow, he's seemingly gone from being a really picky guy that only worked with the best at the time (In Flames, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquility, Soilwork, At The Gates, Opeth), to now suddenly doing this shit.
I don't understand this.
Why the fuck would you suddenly start polishing turds after having been involved with some of the most golden metal records ever? WHY?

This band can't seem to decide whether they're a deathcore band, a melodic metalcore band, or a scene-electronic-core band.
Trying to be diverse is not a good thing if you can't even do one genre right.

Agreed, this mixture of sound is very confusing and almost overwhelming, nothing coherent about it, just smashed a bunch of synths, start/stops/, and riffs together. I'd like to see them pull any of this off live.

I'm a huge hardcore fan, but I'm super picky about it. I couldn't stand most metal anymore :loco:

And wow, that was surprisingly a pretty good performance.
