Dodens–Thane To the Throne. I didn't like Panzer much either until I listened to that album.

Nick–yes, it is that fucking amazing. "Final Product" is a good song, but doesn't go anywhere near showing the amazing depths of this album. Check out the title track, "Sentient 6," and "Medicated Nation."
everyone keeps commenting on those two tracks but for some reason i find those to be the worst on the album, nothing special about them, and Warrel is just annoying when he sings "did you remember to feed me"

Nevermore includes too many modern Metal elements, which I find horrendously inappropriate. I'll stick to Santuary Refuge Denied until the band does something good. And as for Jag Panzer, I've got The Fourth Judgement through Decade Of The Nail Spiked Bat queued up in my playlist right now, giving them their 5th chance, but I think it just might work this time, because I'm enjoying The Fourth Judgement right now, though I grow weary of the songs as it goes on.

Wow. I meant to say I heard that track and liked it. I was out of it back there.

I'll take your word for it and check it out. Thanks!

Yeah, they do, and I know what you mean. However, I attribute that to either their attempt to have an "American" sound or just their own style. Face it, no one else is really doing it. It, oddly enough, seems like progress to me. Taking the "modern" sound of alt metal and radio rock and applying it to traditional metal instrumentation and spirit. I can understand if people wouldn't like that. It's why some people tried branding DHiaDW as "nu-metal."

Jag Panzer do get stale with intense listens, but they still are a great power metal band, providing PM with a needed arse-kick. Riffs, speed, and an awesome singer to boot. They're no Blind Guardian, but the Europeans did almost always have us beat at power metal, Sanctuary, Helstar, and Fates Warning aside.

Name an American Heavy Metal band that's bigger. This excludes all Metalcore and various shit such as Shadowsfall, Devildriver, Lamb Of God, Killswitch Engage, etc. They're bigger than Nevermore, at the least.

Slayer's the only one in that group that still plays Metal, albeit shitty, and I wouldn't be surprised if TGB didn't outsell God Hates Us All. I don't have any statistics though. Either way, I originally said one of, and they certainly are one of. I even see people in my town (which is completely hip hop and Spanish music) with Iced Earth shirts. Also, I don't think Jag Panzer's ever even gotten radio play, whereas Iced Earth does.
