Heaven and Hell
If next year is the final test for cameras at ProgPower, then it is up to everyone who likes to take photos to report any videocameras. To get everyone involved to keep their eyes open, it might be cool for Glenn to offer a bounty to each person who successfully reports anyone taking video. A free ticket to PP 7 would be a cool idea, or some kind of other perk(s).

If the bootleggers know that they are going to have a bounty on their head of one free Gold Badge to next years event, then I'm sure they would have second thoughts about trying to break the rules (and law).

Very good idea

I hear that after next summer this guy is looking for work.

Hmm, frighteningly enough, I know enough people in the 501st Legion (nationwide Star Wars costumers' guild) to provide a Boba Fett. And perhaps an entire legion of their best stormtroopers.

"Now, experience the firepower of this FULLY OPERATIONAL plastic prop rifle!"

Dude..... I've sooooooo wanted to join the 501st for so long... I just gotta find the time to make a stormtrooper costume. My brother wants me to make him a Death Star Gunner costume, cuz as far as I know, there are none in the 501st! Either that or an AT-AT driver costume. He loves both.

I think they let you commission one from members, if you can't do it yourself. Most people I know don't have plastic molding equipment in their dens. :Spin:

Join the 501st, come to Dragon*Con along with the other 100 or so stormtroopers, and express your individuality. :tickled:

/me looks around furtively, puts his Official Geek badge on, then hastily takes it off before the mob shows up with 'pitchforks and pointy-ears' :tickled:
