listen up.....

this is not a rip off. this is a compilation cd.

u gotta realize that this compilation is put out for one single reason: To make the out of print mini-cd's available again ALL ON ONE release. It's a chance for all the fans who weren't part back in the days, either those who misses one or two of the minis or those doesnt have ANY of them, to get a glimpse into the old days of the band and owe the music. It's still better to owe the the original mini-cd's, because this compilation cant touch those, those were the originals, and those will not be re-released. so if you say u got em all, great! why should you buy this one? just download the unreleased track from the web and stop whining.

nice one. I for one *do* own the older originals (been around since the outset...) though i'd like to see the booklet etc.... but will probably just get hold of the unreleased song.

BTW- any D. Masq. happenings these days?

Look... Never called it a ripoff. I am sure it is great for those fans who don't have the EP's, and I am glad that you've decided to release them again so people won't have to pay $100 each for them. I'm just a bit disappointed in the tracklist, that's all -- I was led to believe, wrongly it seems, that there would be more unreleased stuff on the disc. I'm happy that you think it's alright for people to download the track, but I'm still buying the album... Completism and all that, besides I don't have Saw You Drown. :p

EDIT: Oh, I didn't see the post below mine that actually called it a ripoff. Oh well.

I don't have neither of the EPs that were previously released, so I'll gladly buy it.
But...are there any Lord Seth pictures included in the booklet?
That beast is rare.

no one is pushing you to give an account of buying or not buying the compilation.
yes, it will be out, in the first place, for those who don't have the originals, for one or another reason.

*lying in wait*

Amen brother. And yes, I do have all the unreleased stuff. But you know what? I will still buy this, being a veteran fan and a completist breed of collector and all, and besides hearing "Untrue" for the first time will be worth the price alone in my humble estimation.

Shit, I almost forgot. Blakkheim, do you have any news at all to say about the two unreleased tracks from the Viva Emptiness sessions? I almost thought they would be on this compilation.......
Since Katatonia is no longer in Avantgarde or hasn't been in a long time, the rights of those songs don't belong to Avantgarde. If I've understand correctly, you're gonna hear those songs when the DVD has been released...
