Alright you primitive screwheads, listen up!

Bruce Campbell will be at the Landmark Nuart Theater in West LA this Friday to introduce the 7:30pm and 10:00pm shows of Bubba Ho-Tep... If you haven't heard me rave about this movie, where have ya been???
Tickets are already on sale... judging by the last time this movie played in LA, they will go FAST!

See ya there :)

Damnit! When I relocated from Ohio three years ago, I should have by-passed Arizona and went to California instead. I miss out on everything here. Now more than ever I wish my parents would have stayed in San Diego back in 1975. I guess I will just have to settle for reading my newly acquired book "If Chins Could Kill", and wait for Bubba Ho-Tep to be released on DVD.

For you Bruce Campbell nuts... looks like he'll be in Orange County too. Today's OC Weekly has a Q&A with Bruce and also says he will be at the Bubba Ho-Tep showing at University 6 Irvine 2:40pm Saturday.

Just as predicted, the shows for Bubba Ho-Tep on Friday sold out FAST...

Bruce arrived, just as we were entering the theater. He was supernice to everyone, but was only signing in a hurry (so I couldn't get him to sign the book...)... but my little sister... the rascal... got his signature and a hug (she got a hug and a signature from Sam Raimi at the last screening too at the Egyptian in Hollywood)
Anyway, the Nuart had an Elvis impersonator at the show, singing and warming up the crowd for the real king...
Bruce came out and talked a little about the movie and about what's coming for him...
he's going to be in the next 2 Coen bros. films
he's working on a horror flick... a real horror flick... with Lucky McKee (who directed that freak fest May, earlier this year)
there will be no Evil Dead 4
there is no Phantasm 5 in production... he has a part, there is a script, but of course... there is no money...
Bubba Nosferatu: The Curse of the She-Vampires depends on the success of this flick
Jason and Freddy vs. Ash... apparently there was some interest in this from New Line...
Bruce will go on tour for his new book, Make Love The Bruce Campbell Way, next summer

On to the movie....
a great story about redemption wrapped in an Elvis and JFK fight a soul-sucking mummy movie... Weird? Yes. Worth your time... HELL YES!

I'll definitely try to get that book signed for ya Hobbes (I bought it,... took it, but had no opportunity) when he comes back around these parts... either for the book tour, or the weekend of horrors

No worries! Thanks for trying :)

BTW: you left out in the plot summery: It takes place in a rest-home! Muahaha. Can't wait for it to hit Salt Lake, I'm on the street crew for it...
