I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that I have only listened to Cranial Impalement by Disgorge. I think it's a combination of how much I love that album and how often people put down the other ones.

I don't know who you talk to, but none of them get put down. Cranial Impalement is at least a level below the other 3. You need to give the others a listen for yourself. There's nothing new coming out until MDF, so here's your chance

Nah, Cranial Impalement is pretty awesome dude. Raw brutality with pretty much zero care about anything. It has such a great sound. She Lay Gutted is sweet but every song sounds exactly the same pretty much, and the production is bizarre. CI doesn't differentiate well between songs either but at least it has a better guitar tone.

I dunno...some of the tracks on She Lay Gutted sound pretty distinct IMO. There are a few tracks on that album that might sound somewhat similar to the next, but I've never had a problem with it. Either way, Cookiecutter you need to check that album out.
Suffice to say, it has been so long since I've listened to Consume the Forsaken that I can't remember it all that well.

I know them really cool stuff catchy and technical I missed them on trash and burn tour because they cancelled all the tour due to the guitarist departure...
But that was a sick show even without them Dying Fetus are fucking gods in live ! Origin was disappointing because they had a shitty sound (the first time that I saw them with James Lee on vocals was perfect).

I also like that Matti is back.. and the fact that they have a 2nd guitarist now is also going to add a whole new dimension to their sound. And its a Disgorge guitarist at that!

they already sound like DISGORGE as it is, adding matti will solidify the DISGORGE rip. Not sure i can handle that. I had to stop listeing to the new album cause it was way to DISGORGE worship.
