Brutal/Slam Death Metal

Barrett calls it a full-length but M-A calls it an EP. Regardless, I still think it is too long for 6 tracks. I don't really think it is bad, I just feel like I need to explain why I'm not into the kind of thing they do. I do admit that I'm sure plenty of people will love it, and that they should go buy it if they think they will. I acknowledge that people will disagree with me on it.

I can't disagree with it yet, unless I only go off of my opinion of their demo. Plus, I seem to appreciate California death metal (both brutal and non-BDM) more than most.

Get anything by Ancient Necropsy, its all good quality.

How much do you guys usually pay for your slam/bdm albums? I was in ProFusion earlier today and they had a lot of really brutal looking albums, including quite a few that I recognized from lurking in this thread, but prices were all ~$18.

You'd have to be crazy to pay more than $10~12 bucks... even for brand new releases of most brutal death metal. (unless it's rare of course) Between Comatose and Sevared you can pretty much find anything brutal for a decent price. (and buy three get one free deals of course)
