Brutal/Slam Death Metal

Fuck, I love the new Cenotaph...awesomeness.

Should I add it to my essential Slam list?

Btw, V5, I'm trying to get my username changed. I've got a thread in the name-change thread but no one actually seems to check it. Since you're a mod, would you mind helping me out? Thanks.

Just won these 2 in mint condition on eBay for $20!!
Devourment - 2000 - 1.3.8 (Corpse Gristle version)
Eternal Suffering - 1999 - Drowning In Tragedy (OOP)

Syphilic - Behind Bars, was forgettable. the samples were done pretty shitty too (I also don't care much for samples anyways).

Yeah, I couldn't even get through it all...Syphilic is good for like one or two songs at a time, but he is just such a boring fucking songwriter who over-extends his reach beyond what he should be creating, and it shows. And the samples were garbage, yeah. Fuck shitty samples in slam.

Just listened to the Envenomation EP...great stuff. I can't find any info on them, and like Shellblast said, it is definitely a surprise to hear such good production.

What 2010 releases have you guys bought this year so far?

hi guys. does anyone know where to find death metal or grindcore patches? thrash metal and black metal has a HUGE base for patches, but when it comes to grindcore believe it or not, they are hard to find. death metal I can understand as the scene isn't really about the DIY ethic.

Has anyone ever made a patch on this site? thanks!

People who like death metal aren't going to buy patches and put em' all over a jacket.. that's so punk rock. Death metal is not about image.

is black metal punk rock? its not about image. I'm putting them on my hoodie and bookbag. I'm not a thrasher. I'm making my own either way. I love death metal.

Gave new Cenotaph another listen today and it sounded it even better the second time around. I will review it in the coming days.

Because everyone said this album owns I cram it into my head for the 4th time today. It's like I can't grasp the awesomness of this release. I like those parts where the slower riffs are executed. I must be doing something wrong.

There is something very cool about this post. I just can't put my finger on exactly what it is.

Does anyone know if Insisious Torture's "Lust and Decay" album is out and, if so, where I can get it? Also, is the Australian band, Excruciate, any good?

Just another question that's been bugging me. Does Ulrike from Awaiting The Autopsy do some of the gutturals in the band or just the screams, leaving the gutturals to Christian?
