Although only like 30 people were at the Pre-Fest show it was pretty, cool, and Vulvectomy was fucking awesome. I tried talking to Mario but he was like "I don't really understand what you're saying," and then I also bought a shirt (on the back it says "SLAMMING GUTTURAL BRUTALITY ) and briefly talked with Diego. The bassist dude wasn't at the show.

New kateslpy is amazing, its actually enjoyable and their slams are INSANE and full of groove, something slam bands lack today. I swear every DM band today just plays boring technical bullshit.

Drove 6 hours to goto the LVDF Last night and I found out upon arriving that Devourment backed out of the show...A big of a disappointment because they were one of the main bands motivating me to go...Its all good, Vulvectomy and Septycal Gorge made up for it.

I think I would have liked this a lot a month ago.. But I'm really into 90's NYDM at the moment and this just doesn't compare.
