Budapest, Hungary
A few days ago I had to go to the city and I took some quick shots
there are a lot of statues on the buildings, and only a few people notice them

it's a typical downtown building - inside.

Great pictures! Those gargoyle looking statues holding the lights are amazing. And the statues of the men in the background look like they're holding the building together. Cool architecture. And the new building in the last picture is really cool looking too.

Next time I'm in Budapest, I should probably spend a day going around and really seeing the city. As opposed to sitting in an office, a hotel room, and a taxi

Great pictures Faffy! Budapest is such a beautiful city. I actually was there on vacation this year and took some photos too:
here

Next year I'm planning on taking a long trip and seeing Vienna, Prague, and Budapest. Been through Prague and Vienna but didn't have time to really stop and enjoy it.

Gorgeous pics Faffy!

Soon you'll be as fat as the Americans who eat that crap.

I haven't touched McDonalds in over 20 years, and my body thanks me for it.

my parents' generation fat, but mine not really, and the kids aren't fat too. yes, there are some of course, but not because of mcdonalds :)
the people's mentality is different here, so I'm not afraid about that we'll be a small usa.
and sometimes I eat mcd but not too much. I like mcfreeze
but I canot get fat. I try. but can't :(((

I think there is a difference between US an European McDonalds actually. The European has less grease in food I heard and less sugar too. I mean it's not healthy to eat in McDonalds everyday but if you eat there a few times a year and do not overeat, there's no problem. I do not know many european people who eat in McDonalds on regularly. And I would assume majority of Hungarian people do not eat there often as they have really good cuisine of their own. And n Budapest there are so many good and healthy places to eat (Trofea Grill for example) too. I don't think that Hugary is the next America.

It's true. The sizes are a little smaller in European McDonald's, it's cooked in a different way, and many European people prefer to eat their own food. It's a great balance here; it's there for every now and then, but people don't rely on it like they do in the US.
