I have a feeling this is going to be a big hit for them. Think it would sound pretty good through a decent cab...

I've been waiting for this amp for a long time, I was starting to wonder if there was some kinda laws suites involved that was delaying it. The Varipower and Infinum Valve Life Multiplier are very interesting!

Man, I don't know. Those distorted rhythm tones sound pretty bad to me - very loose, tubby, and fizzy. The amp does boast some pretty great features, but to me it fails where it matters the most. $800 would probably be better spent on the usual suspects (5150, DSL, etc.).

the video is through the Behringer cab, so imagine what it would be like through a Mesa OS etc...

That amp sounds like it's perfectly suited to a behringer cab.

Sounds pretty shonky IMO.. But I'll chalk it up to bad micing + bugera cab = recipe for fail

Well it was 2009 when this was supposed to be out the first time so I'm holding my breath. The Mesa Mark IV combo - Magician is something that does interest me but I haven't really heard any clips. If it sounds as bad as this TriRec my GAS is over.

Yeah, it sounds pretty loose in the bottom end but so do Rectos without a boost and the cab just flat out sucks! So we will see when and if it ever comes out.

It sounds the the characteristics of a recto are there. I agree that its hard to judge it without hearing it with the usual EMG/TS/Mesa OS combo.
